Tough times, part 2
Tough is right. This morning in a bread line I was told they were out of bread. How humiliating is it to be in a bread line that runs out of bread? That is just one more instance of today's tough times. We all remember easier times, right? There were times when you went to a store to buy groceries and the store owner ran the joint (in fact he smoked a joint) and you could run up a bill just for the freaking sake of having credit with the place. Those days are kaput and let me tell you that the kaput pile is heightening.
